Section 4: Define Analysis Settings


DeepEX software implements a big number or scientific methods and procedures that can be selected and applied in any deep excavation project file. We can use the software tools in order to check rapidly and effectively different methods that can verify the safety of any project design, based on various valid recommendations and standards.

This section presents how to define the analysis settings in any deep excavation model in DeepEX software. We present how to select and define an analysis method, how to define geotechnical design load combinations and how to select the water pressures method. In addition, this section includes information and some theory about the driving and resisting pressure methods and the beam analysis methods that can be used when Limit Equilibrium Analysis method is selected. We can learn about the included methods for the calculations of the earth coefficients, and how to apply seismic analysis parameters. Finally, we present the wall embedment and basal stability methods and parameters that can be selected in DeepEX.
